I'm not really a big fan of the new Transformers story trend of The Decepticons being the lower class that started the revolution and Autobots being ignorant cops. It just looks like a cheap way to give the cons sympathy, especially when you put into consideration that before that it was always hinted that the Autobots are the revolution against the over military Cons. I agree that it can still give an interesting story like in TFP and some of IDW(1st wave) but I want more stories with actual oppressive and military Cons vs working-class Bots.

1: Secret mostly because the fandom looks to be REALLY into the concept and I always been a little scared of looking like a contrarian.
2: I don't hate the cons, they are cool! I just would like to explore overly militaristic or/& tyrannical Cons more than to be given a random reason to be sympathetic for them, I actually think it would be more interesting.

This is not what I see in fandom? Castiel had sex with April in canon (but she then stabbed him, since she was a reaper possessing someone) and Meg was a demon that he kissed to distract one time and flirted with for a while. Plus, there was Daphne, who he apparently unofficially married when he had no memory of who he actually was. So Cas has been canonically attracted to women, sure, but he told Dean he loved him, and that was then pretty much forgotten in the last two episodes.

Also, people talk about female vessel Hannah perving on Cas (and getting politely rejected) but guy vessel Hannah acted the same way towards Cas.

As an artist, I... actually agree with you. For one side I would say art gets the most attention because it has fewer barriers, It's easier to post it on most social media, less worry with language barriers, and just generally less effort to consume it than a fic.

But I also think there isn't enough pushing to make recommending and sharing fics common, or commenting even when the fic is old.
