Uh, okay, I was totally on board before for Amber Heard being terrible. Except that an actual court of law found that she was the one being abused. Given that an actual court saw the actual evidence, all of it, which we don't have access to, and sided with her, I feel like still calling her an awful person and siding with him is questionable. Previously the evidence we had was on his side. But now it is on hers.

Are you talking about the recent libel case?

Yes. this article lays out the specifics of the judges decision and why it means that Depp is the abuser. https://www.cbr.com/johnny-depp-amber-heard-judge-abuse-allegations-ruling/ There are lots of other articles too.

Although the case was about libel, the judge was deciding whether calling Depp an abuser was libel and therefore had to look at the things that were claimed about Depp (and Heard) as well. Although all he strictly had to do was find negligence on the part of the Sun, in fact he looked at each incident and found many of them to reach the level of abuse such that calling Depp an abuser wasn't libel. For example a kick to Heard's back in 2014 and knocking her to the ground in 2013.

Ok so the case was started because Depp was pissed that a newspaper called him a wife beater.
And during the process, Depp used some of the incidents he experienced at the hands of Heard as a way to show that he wasn't a wife beater because she was also volatile towards him.
But at the end of the day, hitting your spouse is wife beating no matter what the circumstances and thus he lost the case.

How does this relate to Amber Heard suddenly being completely innocent?

If the S*n had called her the abuser (and they some papers have btw she's just made the decision to ignore them) and she'd took them to court for libel, she would have also lost the case.

Or they're... Mutually abusive. Like shit, both of them are pieces of shit. Him being abusive doesn't mean she's not abusive. The point is they both are and both can rot for it.

DA This is what I've been saying from the start. Absolute toxic mess of a situation all around.
