Jenkins had full creative control this time around.
And she preceded to fire/not hire all but one of the WW 2017 writers (including the man who has had a good run of wonder woman comics under his belt and understood her character).

Jenkins and 2 other people wrote this mess of film.

So it's all on her. Which makes it so infuriating because she chose all of this. This was her story and choices.
