It's a little hard to be excited when we've been here before, but here's hoping it sticks this time. 🎉

He's the first one in history to get impeached twice. That's a statement. Also, if when the vote finally happens he gets convicted, he loses a lot of post-presidency perks. So even though it is so late, it is still a good thing it is happening and a big deal.

I'm just hoping he gets disqualified from holding office again.

I hope so too.

(Also hoping he loses the right to run for anything ever again, and his stupid kids and other enablers get similarly blocked. I know nothing's guaranteed but PLEASE let something good happen, for once!)

The part that I still can't wrap my head around is that he's being impeached because a bunch of assholes decided to storm the Capitol and threaten people's lives to defend a guy who used to be known as a reality TV star who hosted "The Apprentice".

Like, seriously, the Trump supporters think people are being mean to them now? Just wait until future generations learn about all of this.

I fully agree with you that his entire family needs to go down with him. And then next up, we can start weeding out all the nutjobs within Congress who aided and abetted this insurrection as well. The Democrats seem clearly eager to do that, so I hope it happens as soon as possible once they're all seated and we've got complete control again.

For now, he's been impeached the same number of times he's been divorced. That's an accomplishment, right?

If rumors pan out, Melania's gonna up that divorce count for him.

Oh, the only surprise there will be who files first. She's at least 8 years too old for him by his standards.

That woman looked like she wanted to escape on half the pictures I've sen of her.

I don't feel an ounce of sympathy for her. She chose that life.

This. I really wish people would stop infantilizing her/acting like she's some kind of helpless victim being held against her will. She, like most of us, probably never expected to be First Lady, but she 100% sure as shit stinks knew what kind of man trump was when she married him. She's as much a piece of shit as he is.

DA - She's a terrible person, regardless of who she's married to. With that said, I'm sure she planned on being happily divorced and launching her fashion line by now, not doing first lady stuff and having to still pretend that she likes Donald in public. She looks trapped because she is trapped, like a rat whose rich piece of orange cheese went rancid years ago.

She hasn't exactly put in any effort into pretending to like him for at least three years now lol

The one thing I will say in her defense is that she does seem to genuinely care about Barron.

I hope that kid gets away from his family and gets lots of therapy before he ends up like the other kids. :/

I'm so happy here, although the other people in my house are griping about the Democrats and Chuck Schumer and the impeachment and cursing them and I just don't care, I'm having a silent party down here in the basement!

Today was kinda shitty, but the news that he’s been impeached twice brought me lots of joy. Keeping my fingers crossed that he and his evil spawn end up in jail too.

My dream is that the SDNY's people are hanging out just outside wherever he's hate-watching Biden's inauguration, and as soon as it's over (not exactly 12:01 for reasons which will become obvious), there's a knocking on the door...

And the afterparty for the Biden inauguration will be all the news networks breaking in with live footage of Trump and/or his mini-mes being dragged away forcibly while they cry.

That would be glorious.

YES. Please. This is my dream scenario. Please let this happen. This, along with seeing him hauled off to prison, would be the only time I'd be happy to see Trump on TV :p.
