Solo. I liked the new characters we met and I enjoyed the movie and I think there is lots of room for a great sequel.

Event Horizon. Won't happen obviously. But I'd like it.

I'd love another movie set in the worlds of Galaxy Quest or Mystery Men. They are interesting worlds that I'd love to see explored further.

John Carter. Yes I know it was a flop. Don't care, I thought it was good and deserves a sequel.

It's been so long that it's no longer possible now, but I'll never stop longing for the follow up to the Fincher adaptation of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, with Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig.

Weekend Plans?

What is everyone doing this weekend?

I will be watching my nephew and niece from noon Saturday to noon Sunday to their parents can have some alone time for their anniversary. I really won't have time for much else other than playing Animal Crossing while the baby is napping. I plan on being exhausted the whole time. -__-

Good luck with the niblings, and I feel a bit mean with stating my plans. Hope you get good rest where you can.

I plan to sleep. I've had bags under my eyes all week and I never get those, so I figure that my sleep must've been worse than I thought it was. They have been getting better over the week at least... .

Also Numenera? Last week it didn't happen, life happened to the GM, so I GMd another Mausritter. The players actually want to do an extra session to finish the mausritter

Relaxing. Nothing but relaxing. The massage I got today has reduced my jaw pain somewhat, but it still hurts. I plan on staying away from stressful things, keeping my heating pad close, and watching things that make me happy. Not sure what yet.

It's my birthday tomorrow and my sisters said they have a surprise for me, so I'm gonna be looking forward to the surprise. I'll try and work on my fic too.

Hoping I can find a Kyogre raid with enough people doing it to actually beat it so I can complete this freaking research.

Also hoping I can start eating and/or drinking things again without my guts throwing fits for the rest of the day, because I kinda need to run some errands but can't drive while either horribly nauseated and refluxy, or incredibly dizzy and weak from dehydration and malnutrition.

...Also also figuring out how I want to end this story that I didn't know I was going to write until I started writing it. I mean the guys are home and in bed now so it seems like it should end, but there are some things that I kinda feel like I need to wrap up. So now I'm debating about time-skip to them figuring stuff out, or just the two of them pondering the stuff later that night and deciding "yeah, this is going to take awhile to deal with but we'll do it together somehow."

I hate myself but 'yeet' has entered my vernacular. I use it most frequently at work because the concept of chucking something somewhere it shouldn't be is shockingly useful where I work.

Shamed Gen-Xer is shamed.

If I want to swear I often say "sugarbandits". A habit I picked up from a friend I used to have, and I've never heard it from anyone else who didn't hear it from me first. I've been accused of censoring myself but it really feels the same as the more 'real' swear words for me.
Which means I can get all the personal benefits of swearing in places where the 'real' ones aren't allowed :3c

I say 'rip' after like, all of my sentences. I picked it up from a discord server I was on.

Every time I see a police car go by with the lights on I go, "Jeepers, it's the cops! We've been snookered!", which came from a fanfic a former friend of mine wrote once.

Same friend added "YET. Or maybe... NOT ANYMORE!" to my vocab from a comic they drew.

butter reader: person, usually an old lady, who completely blocks the aisle in a grocery store with both their body and their cart while they stare at a product without moving for a very long time and get extremely offended if you say "excuse me" or any similar phrase to them. Bizarrely, more of them have come into existence since covid.
I also tend to prefer "fridge nuke" to "shark jump" because I don't think Happy Days was ever that good of a show to begin with.
