Get a beta to history pick for you?

Also, you could write your story, and then just do research on the things you have written down. Let's say the fic takes place during a ball and a riding trip- then you can just do research for those bits, and not on, say, churchgoing or mourning.

I almost only write in historical fandoms, and love the research- it's half the fun. :)

Yeah. You donm't have to know everything to write one fic. You just have to know about the things you're dealing with in that story.

Also, if you're already in the fandom, and familiar with it, and the canon you're working from is accurate/period, then you don't have to research stuff they have already laid out, like how people are addressed, or dress styles, or whatever.

Don't reinvent the wheel, OP - you can do it!
