Canon is very clear, though, and makes the connection explicit. Tara herself views it as taking away of her consent.

She was upset, she didn't say she was raped

DA. People who have been raped, especially by someone they love and trust, often have a very difficult time accepting and calling the action rape. Certainly, a survivor's opinions and feelings should matter, but they are not the sole determinant on whether something was or was not rape. So this response really makes no sense.

there was no mention of whether tara consented to sex at any point; it's pretty clear that she views the mindwipe as the violation, not the (at the time) fully consensual sex they had afterwards
