I know OP said they learned more and would like to retract but honestly OP, fuck no, this is still terrible even with the limited info. When it comes to stuff where there is a significant possibility of harm to someone from someone else, it's very telling that people are quick to assume that telling people is "snitching." The bottom line is that some kinks come with a significant possibility of mental, psychological and physical harm to the receiver even with initially consensual action and to shut down telling people with "kink-shaming!" is to be okay with allowing abuse to flourish in kink communities because you'd rather protect the community.

If someone who like violent kink says, "but so and so likes it a little too much" that's something to note, ffs.
