Yup. I've caught a couple episodes of the original and have no interest whatsoever. I don't watch law enforcement shows anymore anyway. And Jared isn't a draw for me anyway. I don't think he's that great an actor. Jensen might be, but even he wouldn't make me watch a Walker remake. I don't think even Hemsworth would.

Agreed, really. I think Jensen's the better actor, but I still wouldn't watch this for him.

I used to watch it when I was a kid and from what I recall, it was pretty ridiculous and campy in that particular 90s kind of way. Without that charm, you have a standard law enforcement show. To try and make it campy would date it, unless you have a Sam Raimi or Ben Edlund type who are really good at that kind of silliness. Judging by the reviews this reboot seems like they're playing the premise ramrod straight, which is not all together surprising but kind of a shame.
