Yeah, a lot of the background females in those movies were a lot better than the ones we tended to get front and center. Valka being more on the slender side makes sense given Hiccup's build, however.

And I think it would have been awesome to have two muscled viking parents have this skinny, tiny viking kid who is as awesome as Hiccup is. It would have brought across the message of the movies even more, and just would have looked cool.
