Really genuinely feeling like a bad person because I'm writing so much fic in a nearly dead fandom. I feel like it looks like I'm trying to take over the fandom and push my preferences - but honestly I've been so sick for so long I couldn't write anything at all, until suddenly I started getting ideas for this old fandom again and now I can't stop writing.

But I feel like I should, because I write too much. It's like the equivalent of that meme about people making others feel bad for talking so much about something they enjoy... except that it's writing fanfic instead of talking.

Mentioned this the other day at my journal and several people basically told me "they can use filters/scroll past if they don't like it" which is true but still. I wish more people would write stuff and push me off the main page (and then I'd have new stuff to read, too). I promise I'm not trying to take anything over or get attention or push my preferences on anyone, I'm just really glad I can write something again.

I mean... if people don't like it, they can write stuff too. Not your fault if the fandom is practically dead.

Yup. One of those things my head knows but my heart has too many scars from past fandom experiences, heh.

Seriously if someone wanted to hate-write some stuff in the fandom because they showed up and saw my stuff and wanted to see something different there, I'd say PLEASE DO. I have preferences, not requirements.

This was me when Pillowfort was up and I was the only person posting fanworks in the community blog - I feel like a spammer when in reality I was only posting something every month or at most every few weeks.

Yeah, actually I started posting the newest story a few days ago because "well it's been a month since I finished posting the story it's a sequel to". So this seems apt, hahah.
