The thing that makes me sad is that this trope is extremely popular, but only for ships where there's not real impact of them getting walked in on. It's just embarrassing and that's it.

I LOVE this trope, but I only love it with ships where getting caught is serious business, like idk, Spuffy, or Reylo, or Starker, or any ships where the characters are married to other people. Ships where getting caught is a huge deal because the fact that they're fucking is weird and wrong and nobody is okay with it.
