it doesn't have to be deliberate my dude, it can just mindlessly replicate tropes and perpetuates things...

and b99 does. if you ask for a lawyer you're guilty, it's good when cops ignore procedure or themselves commit crimes to catch the criminals (because they *know* they're guilty and they are fucked up people that need to be brought down!), it's normal if they're a little violent towards criminals... that's just off the top of my head it's been a long time since i watched it.

nayrt but they're not saying you can't like the show, just saying it does prop up a lot of illegal & immoral shit cops do as "just & good," and that very much has real-life implications of influencing public perception, which affects things like witness testimony, jury pools, etc. If that makes you not want to watch the show, that's not the fault of the ayrt for pointing it out.
