Right? There's six years between my parents. Who cares about a five year age gap?

I'm sure in real life somebody's friend has married their younger, adult siblings without controversy, jfc.

Like you said, the only gross thing is ... well, Xander. Who hopefully grew up.

Fair point about Xander growing up. He did seem to be growing as a person in S7. I have a hard time forgiving him for not telling Buffy about Willow's plan to save Angel in S2. Regardless of how young he was at the time, that was such a huge violation imo. But I could probably forgive him if he actually addressed it and showed that he recognized how fucked up it was.

I think knowing that Nicholas Brendon went down the drain of alcoholism and became a total asshole kind of effects my ability to image Xander becoming better, because Xander always seemed very close to who Nicholas Brendon was as a person. But to be fair to the character, yeah, maybe he improved with age.
