I learned to cook as a child from watching my parents cook and helping them in the kitchen. Also having access to recipes via the internet or from cook books. The fact that they where supportive even when I messed up helped me learn and improve.

Getting your child involved is a good way to have them learn, so why not having your kid help you in the kitchen?
