That seems kind of unreasonable. I mean, apart from anything else, you could use that criterion to object to anything with an Otaku fan base.

Warn for it sure, but people are arguing against it being displayed in that way too, so it's not exactly fair to judge a show for a few select fans someone thinks they would be into it. The quality and storyline have extremely little to do with how that.
