What about anime? I have anime favorites. Owari no Seraph and Shiki are among my favorite anime ever and I'm often more fond of anime vampires than their LA counterparts. (this DOESN'T apply to Vampire Knight and much less to DiaLovers.) Vampire anime recs, anyone? Been thinking of watching Dance with Devils, Trinity Blood and the Blood series for a while now but idk.

Anyway, I am Castlevania trash. And, get hype for Tsukihime Remake!

Owari no Seraph is great! I liked Vampire Knight initially, but then it went in a direction I didn’t enjoy.

Yes, exactly. And I remember at the same time (kind of?) Zombie-Loan was airing and I LOVED that, even though its animation and the way its script was adapted from manga were far cheaper/worse but I thought the story was so much better so... I despised Vampire Knight even more for that. How dare you steal the budget and fanbase that should've been my fandom's, mwahahah! ???

Trinity Blood! I have the manga and the novels but I love the anime too.

I also suggest Black Blood Brothers as well, I enjoyed that.

Castlevania checking in!!! They're so pretty -- how am I supposed to say no?


I will say Vampire Knight has to be one of the dumbest animes i gave ever wasted twenty minutes and episode on in my life. And the error was mine -- i kept watching hoping this would change or begin to make sense, but no. So either I'm a fool who didn't understand this show or it was poorly done/translated. Or both.
