I feel like you could say this about almost every Eurovision song that has won. They tend to be pretty bland but then again who gets more votes is related to political stuff and how it affects Europe so in a sense it makes sense but... yeah.

Lordi winning is still one of the most fucking amazing things to ever happen, tho. Shit was so cash.

Any relationship between where a song finishes in Eurovision and its actual musical quality is generally purely coincidental (exceptions can be counted on the fingers of one hand, pretty much).
