Took my computer to the shop this morning and dropped it off. Then went to the IMAX theater and watched Fellowship of the Ring. That was super fun. The movie looked way cool in IMAX. Only downside was it was the regular and not extended version. And I hadn't watched that version in so long I'd actually forgotten that some scenes were actually only in the extended version. But still cool. I've always loved the whole theater experience, and seeing my favorite movies again in the theater this week will be fun.

After that went and got allergy shot. Had a bad reaction because I'd waited too long on account of the bad weather last week. So now I'm home and currently taking allergy pills. My dad's practicing piano, and as soon as he's done I'm going to sleep.

Doing nothing out if the ordinary, normal work Monday. Only unusual thing is I'm very emotionally on edge for some reason

Actually had a really lovely day here. Got to spend some time with my boyfriend whom I live with, for the first time since I got sick with covid in summer last year. Had to sleep afterwards but it was just really lovely.

Worked. Mostly finishing touches on the project that last week had everyone on the meeting call proclaiming me awesome, so hopefully it holds up.

Uploaded several short flashfics/challenge fics to my AO3 account since I was encouraged to do so so that my stuff would all be easy to find. Still feel bad for dominating my fandom's listing, but I was already kinda doing it... just waiting a month between entries. Given hardly anyone else is posting or reading, probably doesn't matter.

Growling at the local snowplows because they just dumped a foot and a half of freezing slush at the foot of my driveway that I was already getting stuck in every time I tried to go in and out. Guess I can't go out and get more gifts to send people in Pokemon Go until spring thaw. :P

I've spent the last half hour trying to figure out where to pay the state taxes I owe. :< Today was meeting day, so that was fun.

I have a lot of studying to do, and I have an appointment with my psychiatrist, who I don't like much (but it took me so fucking long to get a psych at all I'm reluctant to even ask for another...)
I don't know what I'm going to say to him, since I still don't think the ADHD meds he's got me on are doing anything - I'm really stressed out about it, both because I want working meds, and because there's a part of me that's afraid I don't actually have ADHD and I'm just lying to myself (and the psych by association). The only thing that reassures me is that if my brain weren't some variety of messed up, the meds would still have had a noticeable impact - neurotypical people don't do meth because of how boring it is, now do they?
