Daft Punk was my favorite band and I wish them all the best in the future post-disband, but man, this is bittersweet for me. Also kinda sad because I always wanted to see them in concert, but that may never happen. ):

this also fucked me up! (although i personally do care about daft punk breaking up lmao.) the video by itself though just really affected me as well. i think i also saw it in a similar way as you. i don't know why they decided to release this video, what it means for them, or why now, etc. but the way it happened felt so simply significant. i've been thinking about it nonstop all week.

I think if Chemical Brothers broke up it would make me upset. I didn't really react when Daft Punk split, probably because I don't know as many of their songs.
