Also the 'bad' ending route for Shadow Hearts is stained on my consciousness. Both endings are nightmarish in their philosophical angles but the one where Yuri just continues on living, having forgotten everyone and everything, is beyond depressing for me, what with having family members suffering from dementia. Anyway, most heartbreaking line was Roger's when he 'adopted' Yuri and the context that led up to the scene. "You don't even remember your own father..? Such a foolish son... well, let's go home now. It's cold out..."
