As a person whose state also sucks (Texas is about to end all mask requirements and sucks in so many other ways), I very much commiserate and sympathize. This is awful, and I'm so sorry.

My daughter has transgender friends from Jr. High that I know and love. My ex-in-law family has a transgender kid. This impacts my *family*, as far as I'm concerned, and these people can fuck off and die.

And Texas, holy fuck. It's insanity.
