Re: What media are you looking forward to?

Until WandaVision I wouldn’t have said this, but I’m actually looking forward to more MCU stuff again. As a fan I still have reservations about ‘Loki’ and how it’ll handle his character. I know from past experience commenting that a lot of this comm hates him and thinks it’s woobiefying to want some of his pain explored by I hate how his “sacrifice” in Infinity War was all about setting up Thor’s reaction (so I don’t consider it a good redemption, it’s lazy, sorry :/) and the films didn’t really properly address anything relating to his own identity after phase 1, so I’m hoping the series addresses that but I have a horrible feeling it’s just going to be comedy all the way down. Then again, I had notions about WandaVision that turned out to be wrong in the end!

Falcon and the Winter Soldier is next on the Disney+ shows and I’m looking forward to both of them getting more screen time and better character development away from being in Cap’s orbit.

There’s a few books on my Goodreads list I shelved that are coming out soon. Off the top of my head I can’t remember them all but I think there’s one about Ariadne that I’ve got on pre-order. I like myth retellings, especially if they focus on things other than the same men as ever doing stuff.
