I get that she grew. Her early character just reminds me of some bullies I had. One girl in particular that really traumatized me. So for me her character will always be connected with that and bring up those memories. I can't help it. I wish I could because I do know she grew even on Buffy and certainly on Angel. But I can't remove my trauma.

I think that's totally normal, OP. There's popular characters I dislike because they remind me of someone negative (sometimes just their name!) I don't think you should feel guilty unless you're going around attacking fans of Cordelia or Charisma.
