Man I have been hit hard by all sorts of characters for all sorts of audiences for whom I am or was not the target demographic. Revel in that shit when you find it, someone gets what you need.

Haruka and Michiru are awesome! I grew up with Sailor Moon and still love it, but one of my friends started watching it only a few years ago and really likes it.

Hey, it's alright. I'm the YYH rewatch anon and all those characters resonated with me, and I'm close to thirty. Pretty sure the aim was for kids, but here I am crying and really feeling seen by the situations and characters. It be like that sometimes! Enjoy the characters!

Sailor Neptune was one of my faves, btw.

No idea how comforting this is going to be but they grew on me so much along the years, and my internet nickname was Sailor Neptune already 20 years ago so maybe I'm way more screwed than you, if you'd call that "screwed". I enjoy being inspired by things, though.
