Re: Which state would you pick to start a new life?

I'm in Michigan and personally wouldn't really want to go anywhere else, possibly because I'm in a pretty nice location in MI that's not super rural but also not really crowded, and I actually like snow. (I was sad we only got it for a couple weeks this year.)

My (ex?)fiance told me some time back that if not for the lack of snow (instead, rain, which I am not as big on unless there's thunder and lightning with it), I'd probably really like Seattle. But then, I like Michigan so our tastes may be very different. ;)

yeah, we only had snow for a few weeks in MI. I hate snow but it makes me sad bc climate change.
