I rewatched the whole ten seasons recently and this episode stood out this time around. Bob being bi or at the very least pan is something I appreciate and I ship him with Jairo more than I would someone like, say, Teddy or Jimmy who he has the most male interactions with. Plus I think Linda would be into it too.

Are you talking about the aspect ratio? They did that to The Simpsons and it pissed me off. Luckily you can go back to the old aspect ratio on Disney+. There's no option to change it for Sailor Moon on the DVDs?

Hmm. That's how people rolled in the 1870s, though. Manifest Destiny and all that.

I also don't see any landowners in 2021 looking up which tribe lived on their property 150 years ago and signing over the deed to give it back, so...*shrug*.

The history of everywhere is people moving into other people's land, sometimes fighting for it and sometimes trading for it/the land is subject to a treaty. But it's a novel and not a history book either so, whatever.

This makes me think of David Fincher doing Alien 3 as his first movie, and it being a mess, and then coming back three years later like, "Okay, I've got it this time," and knocking it out of the park with Se7en.

The skill was clearly there in spades; he just had to figure out how to adapt it to the process of making a feature-length movie.
