It sucks you don't like the cold but I feel the Great Lakes region is the safest place to be: too far up to worry about sea level rise, too far inland to worry about hurricanes, tectonically stable, abundant freshwater... major forest fires were a problem historically but it's been a century since the last really deadly one (so, not like California) and hey, maybe don't live in the woods?

That said, the Pacific Northwest would be my recommendation. Like, on the Olympic Penninsula. It's really nice. Nowhere near as cold as the middle of the continent! (It can still snow, though.) My grandparents lived out there when they were still alive and I loved visiting.
