I used to be dumb and post fic under my full real name, then more people started using the internet (like 1997?) and I realized maybe that wasn't a good idea when I was looking for employment, so I got paranoid...

I still use a psuedonym and actually sorta have two, one for the stuff I don't mind doing with my family (Animal Crossing and Pokemon Go for instance) and kept my other for the sketchier stuff like fic and shippy vids. I'm sure someone could figure out the latter is also me if they were paying attention and felt like following down some rabbit holes, but oh well. I live independently, my job is with a bunch of fellow nerds since I'm in IT, and my church is sex-positive and LGBTQ+ friendly. I'm not going to lose anything of value if someone finds my gay porn.
