I'm so sorry for your loss and I can somewhat relate. When I saw Frozen 2 for the first time, I just bawled my eyes out at Anna's song because I had just lost someone very important to me - even though I'm pretty sure I would never have cried otherwise.

I know it sounds trite but it will eventually get better. Not right now, maybe not next year but one way you will be able to remember your dad and smile because you just loved him so much.

Google translate has a draw function that allows you to draw in kanji. It takes multiple attempts sometimes to get google to suggest the right one, but i've found it the easiest way to copy kanji from picture format to text format. :)

Well, I post them on AO3 and Tumblr under a username that isn't associated at all with my real name and that are linked to an email that I use only for fandom stuff and don't connect to any work-based stuff. But I use my regular computer for them.

Mostly I just make sure my parents aren't anywhere nearby when I'm writing because I don't want them asking questions about what I'm writing, although I could probably come up with a decent lie if necessary.
