Going by Rotten Tomatoes, these are the ones that I enjoyed watching and thought were much better than their critical consensus:

Lake Placid (okay, only slightly better)

Ghost Ship (this is not a good movie, but it is way better than this, if just for the first scene alone – it also has a hell of a cast)

The opening scene of Ghost Ship has haunted me since I saw it like the year it came out.
