As much as I like this conspiracy theory, I find it hard to believe that Harry and Meghan would agree to sacrifice themselves for him like this.

What on earth are they sacrificing? Fabulous wealth, no need to work, media and uncritical sm at their feet - cmon.

The sweet, salaried life and luxurious accommodations given to working royals as part of their compensation, security that's paid for by British taxpayers (and you cannot say that's not a sacrifice for them, since they've specifically complained about this issue), the cooperation of the Crown, etc.
