Re: The Falcon and the Winter Soldier
Sam's fight scene was great and (I say this as not a particularly Bucky fan) the fact that something MCU is FINALLY properly addressing how fucked up Bucky must be is great. Plus he actually had some meaningful dialogue for the first time in years.
Love Sam struggling with the Captain American mantel but not sure about his family drama yet.
Re: The Falcon and the Winter Soldier
I love that Bucky gets to seen as fucked up (because he is), but also functioning. His therapist seemed...weirdly confrontational to me. But i've never had a therapist, so maybe that's normal?
Him sleeping on the floor made me sad.
That weird new Captain America pissed me and Sam both off.
RHODEY!!!! :D
Re: The Falcon and the Winter Soldier
I was a bit put off by the therapist at first but her also being a military person made it make a bit more sense. I still felt sorry for Bucky with that notebook trick! I’m glad he’s getting by having something resembling a normal life but the floor bed and all the guilt he’s carrying is so sad.
Honestly didn’t know Rhodey was going to show up as I haven’t been reading casting spoilers. That was a nice scene.
Re: The Falcon and the Winter Soldier
Though I hope she isn't that type. (I remember her as the OB/GYN from ER, and I really liked her there.)
It was! I love that Sam and Rhodey are, maybe not friends, but definitely colleagues who respect one another. That's awesome for Sam, he deserves it.
