This seems to crop up in any fandom where one half of the ship is a virgin unfortunately, because I have a few m/m ships where this is the case, and almost every damn smut-fic the ex-virgin character is written like some fainting waif who can't handle sex, despite in all cases those characters being adults who clearly enjoy sex just fine without any hang-ups.

It's so weirdly childish and I hate it.

But also agreed on it being bad with m/f too, I don't like it there either. Just gimmie adults boning each other as adults!!
