Yeah, the street two blocks from my house had a Crown books and two used bookstores in the 90s, and then there was the strip mall three blocks away that had another new bookstore. Now there's only the one used bookstore left, and a couple of Barnes and Nobles scattered around 10-30 miles away in big malls. I bought books whenever I could and reread them all the time. And I had a bunch of hand me down books before I started buying my own, plus my one rich uncle paid for me to get a couple books a month from one of those mail order club things. And my mom took me to the library all the time, too.
