I think your nightmares about the posters would make a great horror movie.

My brother had a poster of Darth Vader and the eye-area on his mask was kind of reflective and I was half-convinced that *someone* was watching through there. Not Darth Vader, but *someone*.

That said, what's a Vlive? If it's what I think it is, cover your computer/phone camera while you're on it!

Not OP but no it isn't haha. It's just a video streaming app for k-pop idols.

What can I say OP... I could be judging you but, taking into account that my k-pop boys' latest comeback has tried every single idea I shared/asked on my (locked, with 20 followers) Twitter account and I am convinced that they can read me somehow (and I know they read fans occasionally!) and scared shitless, you are NOT alone in this lol.

It never went so far as nightmares, but yes, this is the exact reason why I don't like posters or desktop/phone wallpapers or merch with actors' faces on them. If it's art, I don't mind, but actual pictures I can't stand. I even get it for family photographs tbh. All the eyes...staring at me...

I can used to think this too, except it wasn't a nightmare because he was my favorite character, so it always just felt weird and made me feel shy in front of my poster, lol. I would "communicate telepathically" with him too, via the poster, but it was all in the EYES!

Me too!

It was my New Kids on the Block Poster and I would daydream that they would gather 'round the monitor that was feeding back into the home they all obviously shared with each other and watch with rapt attention as I went about my day and then they would fall in love with me, especially Joey. I knew it wasn't actually happening, but I liked to think I was a fascinating 12 year old (I wasn't).

Also, my mom coming into my room: Why are you getting dressed in your TINY CLOSET?

AYRT

Exactly this lol. Except the fantasy went on past 12 years old and pretty much sustained my high school self lol. Who needs a boyfriend when my favorite character's poster is essentially my man, right across from my bed?

I had/have a similar paranoia. I felt like that pictures of my faves were watching and judging me. I had a collage of posters and CD covers on my wall during the height of my teenybopper days, but I also needed a crib sheet to cover it when I felt uncomfortable with it. Then there was that whole thing of putting ripped up post it notes on the spines of CDs/DVDs so I could display them, but still feel safe if there was a picture on the spine.

I have no idea if this is in anyway healthy
