Re: Bathing question

(Anonymous) 2021-03-26 12:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Someone said they use a bath towel once then put it in the laundry.

Wow. I can't imagine doing that. I mean, I'm using it on my CLEAN body, so as far as I'm concerned it'll get a little musty from being in a humid bathroom long, long before it gets dirty from being used on my body.

I am a "If it doesn't look dirty or smell dirty, then it's not dirty" kind of person, when it comes to clothes and bath towels and such.

That's generally my feeling towards towels and clothes too. Only exception is my running gear and sports bra, which I wash after every use.

This is reminding me of night bathing Vs morning bathing. Again, I don't really care what anyone does but I'm a night bather as I see it as going to bed "clean" and the amount of morning bathers who try to tell me that my bedsheets are dirty from my body when they're the ones who go to bed without bathing so are surely bringing all the day body funk with them! Either way, it's our own skin and sweat. Unless someone else is going to sleep in the bed (in which case I'd change the sheets) who cares?
