Agreed. And I don't even think it's a matter of freedom to do the stupid things they wanted - as some people seem to have put. I think children are just more honest and in tune with their innermost feelings even when they can't express them at all. Then we lose it at some point and often spend our lifes trying to regain that sense of... unity and being true to oneself and all that. But this is just my experience, really. I think I was more "intelligent" in that sense as a child than as a teen. I kinda lost myself during my teens and took a long time to regain that and know I'm not the only.
