Heh, I had my first winter melon tea the other day and it was good, too. Have you tried Japanese toasted rice green tea? It's good too if you like that toasty grain taste you also get from roasted barley tea.

DA it's called Genmaicha if you need a name to look for. There's also Houjicha, which is roasted green tea. Both are pretty good with salty Japanese food like sushi or katsudon as well.

If your sushi is salty, I'm not sure you're doing it right...

You potentially eat it with soy sauce and wasabi, nori are usually kind of umami-ish salty so ...?
And I generally meant it as compared to sweet food, English isn't my first language so I couldn't think of the right word at the moment but what I meant was savoury. But yeah, depending on what type of sushi you eat, it very much has the potential to be kinda salty.
