I'm okay with sexed up, there's admittedly a lot of sex necessary to events, and i'd rather it be less dry. but I actually want the intrigue to be mainly political rather than mainly emotional, and I'm not getting that lol.

SO VERY MUCH THIS. I had to cringe my way around an actual archaeological site connected to Margaret Beaufort, hearing the local amateur 'historians' acting as guides assuming her stuff is historical.Nearly bit off my tongue not saying "BULLSHIT" aloud several times. I did fill my mother and her friend in later though.
