The “inside people’s heads” outfits in The Cell. The movie is pure pop-psychology thriller with prime 2000s edginess, but the similarly OTT costumes are perfectly fantastical to me and everyone absolutely works ‘em (when not chewing the also-fabulous scenery).

I've never seen the whole film but anything by Eiko Ishioka is awesome (she did The Fall and Bram Stoker's Dracula, too.)

Ayrt - I’ve never seen those but I’ve seen stills, and yes!!! Such eye candy. My pipe dream would have been for her to design costumes for a live-action Final Fantasy based off Yoshitaka Amano’s concept art...
