Omg, that late 70's/early 80's look...it's so frigging insane. Disco in Space on Acid and 'Shrooms, for sure.

And then there's the "Space Rockers" episode where they look exactly what you would expect someone in the 70s/80s cusp to imagine "space rockers" like, and it's so cheesy but holy crap, they sure went all in:

Oof, stupid clipboard. Sorry about that! But glad you found it anyway because I had not seen that episode for about 35 years until I saw it again last year but I still remembered it as soon as the music started playing. It's THAT CRAZY.

I really love how mainstream, almost conservative TV/Movie 'people' will always go in the weirdest, most improbably and generally utterly ridiculous directions when it comes to depicting anything 'edgy', 'fringe' or 'rock'n'roll'.

Makes me wonder what they fantasize about at night, heh.
