Re: What are some specific examples of outfits or costumes in media that you really like?

Having done hundreds of costumes both professionally and personally over the years, costume porn is my jam. There are plenty of movies and shows that I'll enjoy for the costumes even if I'll never make them, and others that I almost can't watch because I know I'll want to make 12 outfits from it.

On the one hand, I enjoy high concept with massive detail. Moulin Rouge. Fifth Element. All the Koei Warriors games - even Hyrule Warriors has such wonderful detailing in the designs. On the other hand, a really well-designed wardrobe of street clothes has me itching to make everything for myself to wear. Say what you will about Bleach but Tite Kubo would have made a better street fashion designer than mangaka. I am very much a t-shirt and jeans guy but I'm starting to love a closet full of hoodies and button-downs worn by anime characters.
