Does becoming a born again Christian change

4) Why would it?
Re: Does becoming a born again Christian change
(Anonymous) 2021-04-04 10:05 pm (UTC)(link)I’m guessing they think the “born again” part means your birthday changes to when you converted? (Which should also mean you couldn’t drink for another 21 years...) I’m pretty sure that’s not the case though. My uncle converted and I don’t think he celebrates his birthday any differently than before.

(Anonymous) 2021-04-04 10:11 pm (UTC)(link)Also I think if you were that conservative a Christian, astrology was considered witchcraft, if not Satanic, so it wouldn't matter. :P
Re: Does becoming a born again Christian change
(Anonymous) 2021-04-04 10:28 pm (UTC)(link)Being "Born again" is completely and utterly spiritual. It's metaphysical. Not physical.
(this is 100% why I hate Christian jargon. This along with Salvation. And "Being saved.")
Look, most conservative Christians find the zodiac, any zodiac, to be "evil" (b/c they don't understand it) and will quote the Old Testament at you about "not looking to the stars for your future." Like, the only thing that has a worse reputation with them is tarot (you have to be channeling demons to understand it, like what, no,) and sometimes DnD. (Or Harry Potter. That was funny actually.)

(Anonymous) 2021-04-04 11:09 pm (UTC)(link)see, this makes me not even want to call myself Christian. The ridiculousness has gotten way, way out of hand.
I'm lapsed anyways. Just, come on, folks.

Re: Does becoming a born again Christian change
Your DoB is not he same as your day of baptism or whatever.
Re: Does becoming a born again Christian change
I think it should. I think there should also be a Xian zodiac, like stations of the cross, only slightly more esoteric.
(Way to miss the sarcasm/joke, F!S)
