I use to be obsessed with the Alf Movie and cartoon series as a kid, but they weird me out too much now.

Harry Potter movies to go along with the books. I still loved them into adulthood, but I got over them a number of years ago.

Touched by an Angel and 7th Heaven. What can I say. I grew up in a conservative Christian community. I grew out of them, though, even before we knew there were other reasons not to watch one of these.

Full House. Home Improvement. Saved by the Bell. Sister Sister. Family Ties. These all played on the same english language channel in the Philippines that we were allowed to watch as kids because it was supposed to be safe for kids. Lost interest when I came back to the US and had more options of what to watch.

Battlestar Galactica. I mean, I was in mad crush with Starbuck, but the show is just so damn sexist and cheesy..... Oh, well - the unicorn ep is still fun!

I liked Hanna Barbara cartoons when I was a really little kid but can't stand them now (to be fair, they constituted about 90% of cartoons on TV then). I also liked Welcome Back Kotter a whole lot but I watched some episodes as an adult and my basic reaction was "I can't believe I used to think this show was so cool!"

The Neverending Story and Ferngully. Loved them as a kid but damn are they full of some boring parts.

When I was pretty young, I was not that discerning with my cartoon watching - I watched Heathcliff, Pac-Man (yes, there was a cartoon based on the video game, Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man had a Pac-Baby), Q*bert (Saturday Supercade), Meatballs and Spaghetti, though I did avoid Thundarr the Barbarian, Rainbow Brite, and Pound Puppies. Dungeons & Dragons really doesn't hold up for me and I haven't confirmed it, but I think I would find The Littles pretty annoying now.

As for live-action, Knight Rider doesn't hold up very well for me, and I don't think Voyagers! would either and Perfect Strangers, though I liked it then, would probably irritate the hell out of me.

Ally McBeal and Boston Legal. Loved them as a child even though much of the adult content completely flew over my head.However, now I have trouble watching them because I can't stand the way scenes rapidly transition back and forth and are overlaid with repetitious music bites - it's a recurring theme in David E. Kelly shows.
