For the Longest Time - Billy Joel

(I mean I have a whole long list, because I love karaoke and used to do it every week until my illness progressed, but those probably got the most play.)

I love the harmony parts on The Longest Time. I can just sing those if somebody else sings Billy's part.

Oh man, I have an entirely different list if I actually have someone to sing with. No one's ever volunteered for that one though (although sometimes I hear someone doing the "Woo-oo-oooooo" stuff from the tables XD).

Like just about my favorite things to do at karaoke ever are "Cecilia" by Simon and Garfunkel, "Closer to Fine" by the Indigo Girls, and "If I Fell" by the Beatles. But they only beat out the others if I have a partner to sing with, because I prefer singing the harmony line, it's just more fun.

I've never actually sung karaoke, but if i did, it would ban Alice Cooper song, 'cause he does not have an exceptionally great voice, so that would work for me.

I haven't done karaoke in a long time, but mine used to be Fukai Mori by Do As Infinity. And no, I don't know Japanese. I was just a massive weeb and memorized the romaji lyrics.

Strawberry Fields or The Way by Fastball. I'll also do Wig in A Box from the Hedwig and the Angry Inch soundtrack any old time but I've only seen that in one karaoke place ever.

Hahahaha! YES, I love that! I still remember all the words to that song, lol. But I'm not sure I'd have the guts to karaoke it in public unless someone else did a dirty song first. I just don't want to be the only one raunching it up.

I haven't actually been to an official karaoke spot, but if I were, I'd probably go with something by the Spice Girls, or maybe "Love Shack" by the B-52s.

When I'm by myself:
Heart: Magic Man.

It's the only one I can remember the lyrics & music entirely.

Not sure if I want a different go-to song having transed my gender since the last time I did karaoke, or if I'll just do a very gay 'My Guy' next time I get the opportunity...
