I have zero knowledge of the show, but I assume that any "but they are married to other people!" issues will be resolved by the wives/husbands conviniently dying in some way, as usual in such cases. The difference might be that here there will be nothing but lingering glances and a lot of emotions and temptations before the characters become "available" again, where in non-Christian production there would be at least some heavy petting and regrets if not outright cheating.
