Man, I didn't come into this wanting to start seriuz bizness, but wow. I can't believe you're really asking that question in an non-ironic fashion*.

To answer your question: It's because she's dealing with this happening and you're not. Neither am I. If we were Koreans and knew what was really going on outside of news reports and this and that, we could talk. But we don't.

It would be idiotic to assume that one Korean who isn't offended speaks for the whole country. I mean, clearly, some Koreans ARE offended by the portrayal of Korea in Hetalia. Because that's what caused this business in the first place.

If I'm going to pick one Korean person's opinion about what's the right side in this debate (instead of deciding on my own, lawls), I could choose to be either offended or not offended. :/

Oh wait, you can't, because I'm not. I'm saying that hey, you don't know what's going on and I don't either, so we shouldn't judge (key word: judge. Not that we shouldn't have an opinion). I don't really give a shit what's right or wrong because it's not about that; it's about you knocking her right to an opinion. If you can have one and I can have one, so can she and no, she doesn't need to go cry moar instead.

I don't care whether Koreans or non-Koreans are offended or not. I think everyone has a right to an opinion. (But that they don't have the right to not have that opinion challenged by others.)

I just think it's silly, frankly, for you to think that non-Koreans somehow can't have an opinion on this issue. That's making an ad hominem logical fallacy.

Half the problems in the world today are because countries can't get over past wrongs. Nationalist flag-beating leads down some pretty dangerous roads.

Countries should be able to move past wrongs in the past. I think Germany has done an admirable job at making up for the crimes perpetrated by the Nazis during the Second World War. Japan... hasn't.

I really don't want to get into this, because last time it turned into a huge storm of wank.

Rape of Nanking was in China, not Korea. There's a whole lot of other stuff that went wrong in Korea.

(I know Nanking's in China. I was using it as an example of a well-known atrocity.)
