Isn't it like Twitter though? If your Twitter or Tumblr is private others can't retweet or reblog; if not, best of luck.

That's just two bad options, though. The prompt was "things you wish websites you love would change." I wish tumblr would give you the option to make your original posts nonrebloggable. Having the option of an entirely separate private tumblr where your posts are invisible to everyone who isn't already following you in no way satisfies that wish.

So basically something like the Instagram close friends stuff?

I guess that would be useful, although it can backfire too (just ask Paul Pierce...)
