Re: Secrets you don't want to make...

I'm glad Taylor Swift is able to put out versions of her songs that are solely her property and free from her previous agents. However, TBH, I just don't like the new versions as much. I feel guilty about this, so I bought them anyway, but I really don't want to actually keep them on my ipod.

Hahaha, oh my god, are you me?! I literally could've posted this exact secret.

I've been feeling this since the rerelease of Fearless came out, but I just feel like there's nobody I can talk to about it because all the Swifties tend to be kind of Positivity Only about her stuff. Plus, all the critical reviews are super positive, too. And I'm really happy that her rerelease did so well. Like, genuinely I'm glad; I always want success for Taylor. But I'm not sure there's a single song where I prefer the new version. Every time I listen to one, I get the strong urge to immediately listen to the old version right after.

Have you hear the original unreleased version of We Were Happy? Cuz the official release of that was one of my biggest disappointments. It's so similar, and yet just not the same. :/
